I stayed at the Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle airport hotel in October 2011. The property is conveniently located at the airport near terminal 3. You can take a tram from any area to terminal 3 and then walk to the hotel. It is also located beside the train station, so it’s an easy commute into Paris. I was given a super nice room. It was very clean and roomy, and I felt very comfortable in the room. The hotel has an executive floor lounge for Hilton Honors status members. There is a huge restaurant and bar on the main floor, and I didn’t see any close alternatives to the hotel’s restaurant. Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel, and I will definitely stay here if I’m in Paris again.

Great Place to stay in Houston!
I travel to Houston frequently on business, and I always enjoy my stay at Hilton Westchase. The Hilton is convenient to Westhiemer Road, which has a lot of places to eat. There is an Outback, Chili’s, Starbucks, and a few other restaurants in the complex across the street, so it’s an easy walk to any of these. On the back side of the property, there is a Kroger, so you can pick up a variety of items in the grocery store. On the property, there is a Rio Ranch restaurant, which has a nice bar and good food. There is plenty of parking, which doesn’t cost extra. The Hilton has a club on the top floor, so Hilton Honors Status members can grab a light breakfast or evening snack. They have a nice pool, and the fitness center is good, but it is small. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in Houston.
Great Dinner at Trulucks in Houston Galleria!
I ate at Trulucks in Houston for a business dinner, and it is a super nice restaurant and bar. It has a large area to congregate in the bar. They typically have a piano player to liven up the atmosphere. As far as food, they have about any type of fish or steak you can imagine. The meal was awesome, and we had excellent service. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the Houston Galleria area.
Great Food at the Caribe Hilton!
My wife and I dined at the Rotisserie II Giardino at the Caribe Hilton over Memorial Day 2011. We are both big fans of Italian restaurants, and this one met our expectations. She had pasta, and I had fish. Both were excellent choices. Their menu had a lot of variety, so anyone can find something they will enjoy. This is a great addition to the resort, and I would recommend it to anyone in the San Juan area.
Very Clean and Nice Stay at the Dulles Marriott
I stayed at the Dulles Airport Marriott in October 2011. It is one of the closest hotels to the airport, so I was able to turn in my rental car early. They have a nice bar and grill in the hotel, and they have great food and service. Their shuttle service starts early to the airport, so you can catch an early morning flight. It is also a very short walk thru the office park across the street and into the airport parking deck. Once in the deck, you can follow the signs to the terminal. The rooms were typical for the Marriott and were clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay in the area again if I’m back in DC.

Brunch at Atlantis The Palm Dubai
I had the opportunity to eat brunch with my colleagues at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai. It was overwhelming the amount of food and alcohol available at this all-inclusive event. The brunch area is filled with various types of food. I think they have something for everyone. The have a fresh fish bar, Asian bar, Western Bar, sweet tooth bar, vegetable bar, and a few more. In addition, they had several drink bars including Pina Coladas served in a coconut, Mojito Bar, beer Bar, Daiquiri bar, Jager bar, and Bloody Mary bar. All bars serve for the entire event, so you can enjoy as much or as little as you wish. If you’re in Dubai, it is definitely worth the journey to Atlantis for this event. I believe it happens only on Fridays.

The Meat Co at The Dubai Mall...A great place to eat.
I had the chance to eat at The Meat Co during a team event in Dubai. It is located at The Dubai Mall. I had the New Zealand filet, and I would have to say, it is the best steak I have ever had. It was thick and super tender. The meat practically melted in my mouth. The service was exceptional, and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Dubai. My co-workers had the kabobs and rib-eyes. Both were well rated by them. If you’re looking for a good western atmosphere in Dubai, this is it! Great food, and they serve alcohol. In addition, seeing the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa are worth the visit.

A Wonderful Meal...Mortons Steakhouse, Caribe Hilton, San Juan
My wife and I ate at Morton’s Steakhouse at the Caribe Hilton over Memorial Day 2011. It was an awesome meal, and the staff provided excellent service. We both had filets, and they were tender and juicy. The steak practically melted in my mouth! They offer an excellent array of side dishes and desserts. The staff at the restaurant where very knowledgeable about their menu, and they were able to answer all of our questions. It was a great experience, and I will definitely eat there again if I’m back in San Juan.

Sofia’s Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar - Great Place, Great Food!
My wife and I ate at Sofia’s over Memorial Day Weekend 2011. It is a short ride from Caribe Hilton to Old San Juan where you will find an abundance of restaurants. My wife and I walked both sides of the area and decided that Sofia’s had the best looking menu. I’m glad we picked it. The restaurant is slender and cozy. It has a small bar in the front with a dining area behind it. The wait staff was superb. They were extremely friendly and very helpful selecting or tailoring a dish. We had drinks, and we both had pasta. Both dishes were excellent. This dinner was one of my favorites on the trip. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in San Juan or at the Caribe Hilton.

Ferraro’s Bar e Ristorante - Great Place to dine outside in Maui!
Ferraro’s is located at the Four Seasons resort on Maui. It’s an easy walk from the Grand Wailea to the restaurant, but we did learn later that it is much short if you take the path along the beach. This was probably one of our favorite meals while in Maui. The food and service were excellent. They also have a teenager menu and a children’s menu, so the whole family can enjoy. This restaurant is an outside restaurant, so you want to go before it gets dark. We got there a little late, and we ate our food in darkness. However, our wait staff did have flashlights for us to read the menu! Very nice place!!!
Sarentos on the Beach
My family and I ate at Sarento’s on the beach while vacationing in Maui. It was one of the best meals and views I had while on the island. We sat at a table overlooking the ocean, and the sunset was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, and they had an overwhelming menu. They did not have a lot of items for kids or teenagers, but they will do their best to make a custom dish to feed any teenager. We are not big wine drinkers. However, they have a huge wine selection in the restaurant. This experience is a “must do” when visiting Maui.
Caribe Hilton San Juan, PR
My wife and I traveled to San Juan for Memorial Day 2011, and we had a great time at Hilton Caribe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We love the private beach and the pools. I do think the drinks are expensive, so be sure to hit the package store across the street. It's a cheap ride from the airport to the hotel, so no worries about transportation. It's also very close to Old San Juan if you want to visit. There are several nice restaurants on the property including a Morton's Steakhouse and an Italian restaurant. We ate in both and found the food and service to be excellent.

Grand Wailea - The best vacation of my life!
The Grand Wailea is by far the best vacation I have ever had. My family and I visited Maui in July, 2011, and I was amazed by the property. It has an elegant open atmosphere in the hotel. The lobby area is open, and the warm island breezes fill the property. Our room overlooked the property with an ocean view. We had amazing sunsets from our balcony every day. I would normally grab a cup of coffee for breakfast at CafĂ© Kula. It is like the mini-mart on the resort carrying grocery items as well as having a small grill and a Starbucks. My wife preferred the full buffet breakfast at the Grand Dining Room overlooking the ocean and pool area. It’s a great place to eat breakfast and start your day with a scenic view!
We spent a lot of our time in the pool area. We definitely liked that there are plenty of pools for families in addition to an eighteen and over pool. The family area has a couple waterslides, a water elevator, and a swim-up bar. If you want a chair under an umbrella, you’ll have to arrive at 7AM to get your spot. They fill up quickly, but you can rent a cabana if you wish to spend the money. The pool area is overwhelming, and it includes two the Bistro Molokini and Volcano restaurants. Both serve a variety of food and drinks, and I think I enjoyed everything I ate. The resort has its own beach where you can lay under an umbrella. I would also recommend the free scuba class for your kids. If you choose to scuba in the ocean, there is a charge, but my step-daughter had a blast.
Humuhumunukunukuapua’a is the signature restaurant on the property. It is overlooking the scenic ocean sunsets, and the entire restaurant is built over a lagoon with all types of marine life. It was one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall, this is the best resort that I have ever stayed at. The Grand Wailea staff spares nothing to make your stay a life-long memory.
Fred's Mexican Cafe Kihei, HI (Maui)
My family and I ate at Fred’s Mexican cafĂ© on our first night in Maui. It is conveniently located near the Grand Wailea, Marriott, and Four Seasons in Kihei, HI. I thought the food was excellent, and it was one of the cheaper meals that we had while in Maui. The service was good for being on island time. As you probably know, service is a little more laid back in Maui. They have a great selection of food and drinks, and I highly recommend it.

Kimo's Restaurant - Lahaina, HI
I had the chance to eat at Kimo's in July 2011. It is ocean view in Lahaina, HI, and it has a great atmosphere. Most of their seating overlooks the water, so bring your be sure to bring your shades. I had a fresh filet of Mahi Mahi, and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend it to other people visiting Maui. Visit their website for reservations (http://www.kimosmaui.com/).

Corp Executive Apartments, Al Barsha, Dubai, UAE
The Corp Executive Hotel Apartments in Al Barsha, Dubai is a great place to stay. I have stayed here three times in 2011, and I have had exceptional service. The staff is very professional and super nice to deal with. The apartments are spacious and very clean. The property is within walking distance of the Mall of Emirates. They have a swimming area on the roof that is super nice. They are very close to City Maxx hotel, which has a local bar for those who wish to enjoy alcoholic beverages. They are close to a lot of restaurants, and taxis stop in front of the property all the time.
Amsterdam Marriott July 7, 2011
I enjoyed my stay in the Amsterdam Marriott. It is super close to many downtown locations. It is easy to walk from the hotel to many shops, restaurants, museums, and the Heineken Experience. It is easy to take the train to Lelylaan from the Airport, and Tram 1 from Lelylann to the hotel. The hotel is clean and nice, and the staff is very helpful. I would stay here again.
